Junior Historians Seek Speakers

The Junior Historians are looking for adult members to help them learn more about life in the past.

Do you have a skill you can show?  Do you have a story to share about an event that took place in Paulding County?  Is there a historic building or place in Paulding County that was special for you?  Bringing pictures will help the youth visualize what you talk about.

Can you give a short presentation about your childhood or something you wore or played with as a child?  If you can bring something for the youth to see and ask questions about, that would be great!

Do you have an ancestor who was one of Paulding County’s first settlers that you can tell about?

Junior Historian meetings are held the first Saturday of the month, from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.  Please let Genevieve Noggle know what you can do so she can schedule you for a meeting.  Call the museum on Tuesdays to talk with her about what you have to offer!

Need Your Help!

We received a photo album from a kind lady in Sagniaw County, Michigan.  Many, most likely all, of the photographs in this album were taken in Paulding County Ohio between 1890 and 1910.  We recently received the album, scanned all of the pictures, and have them available for your viewing.

We need to know anything you might know about the people in this album.  Would you kindly look at the album and let us know if you know anything about the people in these pictures?
